If you’re visiting Inokashira Park, I’ll be singing on the south side of the pond, so please stop by.

Hello, it’s been a while. How are you? It’s hot in Japan today. It looks like it’s nearly 40 degrees! I can’t survive without the air conditioner. It’s so hot I don’t want to work. That’s why I felt like writing this blog for the first time in a while. Lol

So, what should I write? Well, recently, a lot of foreign tourists have flocked to Japan, and it’s bustling. There were a lot of them before the COVID-19 pandemic, but now it’s even more so. It feels like half the people wandering around my house are foreigners. Even though I live in Japan, I don’t hear any Japanese. Lol

Even at my live shows in Inokashira Park, which resumed after the COVID-19 pandemic, quite a few foreigners pass by in front of me. They look through my original CDs that are for sale along the street, but they’re not written in English, so everyone just walks over. I feel like telling them, “If you’re coming to Japan, at least study a little Japanese!” But I’m holding back. I’m thinking about including English explanations the next time I do a live show. LOL

However, I’m not trying to pander to foreigners; all my songs are in Japanese. I only intend to sing in Japanese, after all. I don’t speak English. LOL

Foreigners coming to Japan! Why not come and listen to some original, hand-crafted Japanese songs that aren’t Japanese pop songs? If you’re visiting Inokashira Park, I’ll be singing on the south side of the pond, so please stop by.

Why don’t you come for a walk in Inokashira Park?

In my previous article, I wrote that the number of foreign tourists has been increasing in Nakano Broadway, a shopping district near where I live, and I would like to introduce another place where such foreign tourists are increasing. It is a park called Inokashira Park in Kichijoji.

In fact, I am singing a song in this park. (Laughs) I am singing an original song that I wrote myself. (Laughs) Singing in the park was suspended during the Corona disaster, but recently the ban was lifted, so I have been singing there again.

Inokashira Park is a large park in the suburbs of Tokyo, and before Corona, foreign tourists used to come to the park to take a walk. I sang to these foreign tourists, and a Chinese tourist even bought one of my CDs.

Since I started singing in Inokashira Park again, I decided to make a prominent “Original Song” banner and put it up in the place where I sing. So when you come for a walk in Inokashira Park, you will know immediately where I am singing.

It is no fun to come to Japan and enjoy only the famous things! Traveling is fun because you experience a world you don’t know. When you come to Japan, why don’t you stop by Inokashira Park and listen to my original Japanese songs? It may seem strange at first because it is not a famous Japanese song that only imitates Western songs, but once you get used to it, you will be fine. It’s a good song! The marker is a banner that says “Original Songs”. I am supposed to be humming along with the birds of the forest.

I am poor, so if you like the song, please go and give some money! (Laughs)

You can download YUKIO original Japanese songs! Would you like to listen? You can also listen to it.

I also distribute music on other sites.

Rugby World Cup Japan 2019

Hello, everyone speaks English. The Rugby World Cup is now being held in Japan. The former Japan national team was weak, but this time it advanced to the best 8. Along with this, band wagon rugby fans are growing. I also became a fair-weather rugby fan. I sang at Inokashira Park yesterday, believing that my music would not lose even if I had a hard time like the Rugby Japan national team, and that it would work well someday.
The other day, a big typhoon hit Japan. Rugby World Cup 2 matches have also been canceled. The typhoon went quickly, and what was left was damage caused by flooding the river. After the typhoon passed, I took a heavy baggage and cleared my back.
I don’t care.
Can Rugby National Team beat South Africa?

I started singing at Inokashira Park.

Hello, everyone speaks English. I don’t speak English very well, but I want to communicate with you. I speak in Japanese because I am Japanese, and I sing the original song I wrote in Japanese. Isn’t it natural? However, there are more people on the planet who speak English than people who speak Japanese. I want more people to listen to my original song. There are many good songs in songs composed in Japanese. Do you feel like listening to the trial?
I recently started singing at Inokashira Park, a famous park in Japan. I sing every weekend. It feels good to sing in nature. If you come to Japan, please drop in at Inokashira Park. I might be singing. Music distribution
